About The Artist
A Toronto based Rap and Hip-Hop MC of European Heritage, Itz Shane made a rise in the late 2010s.
Climbing out of the underground Rap scene with a series of hard hitting mixtapes,
singles and freestyles, he has started his breakthrough journey.
Born Shane Timothy Michael Kennelly, in the city of Newmarket, Ontario Canada, he launched his
musical endeavours from a young age when he learned the guitar and taught himself how to sing.
As time went on, and everything he ever knew changed around him, Itz Shanes musical style evolved to
hard hitting Rap and Hip-Hop with deep and meaningful lyrics. This platform enabled Itz Shane to
share his story with the world. Shane began releasing music on serveral platforms in 2019 under the
name $TK but has since changed his stage name due to ties related to the $TK title that he was not
affiliated with.
Shane began to teach himself how to master and mix his own music before enrolling in college in
2019. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Shane dropped out of college and continued to work on his craft.
Itz Shane used this time to focus on his own music while working as a sound engineer from his home
Studio in King Township, Ontario and at another studio in Scarborough.
Itz Shane has started to reap the rewards of all his hard work and will be releasing another
collection of mesmorizing rap music in the summer of 2021. In the mean time listen to his 2 latest
